Regular maintenance of the alternator
First, the manual operation
(A) the inspection before starting:
1 Turn on the power.
2 Check the following is normal:
(1) water tank
(2) oil and diesel oil
(3) The battery voltage
(4) battery level
3 Check the control panel, open the main concern to the stop position, closing the test switch, normal, open detection switch, the meter should show zero, indicator display off.
(B) Power
1 will be the main concern to manually start the open position, the generator should be started immediately, the light display to normal.
(2) observation of a variety of instruments on the control panel should be functioning properly.
3 For with load operation switch on the power output.
(C) off
1 first and then cut back the load off the power output switch.
(2) five minutes after the no-load operation, then open the main concern to the stop position.
3 Check if everything is normal, it will open the main concerns to auto-start position, switch on the power output.
Second, the automatic operation
(A) before starting the inspection, please refer to manual operation, but after checking the generator to start automatically cut to the state, on the power output switch.
(B) Power: Taiwan Power supply cut off, observe whether to automatically start.
(C): Turns the Taiwan Power Company power to observe whether automatic switching power supply and automatic shutdown.
Third, the emergency shutdown
(A) if an emergency situation, the generator protection device itself refuses to boot, should an emergency shutdown, open the main concern to the closed position.
(B) the emergency shutdown, immediately conduct a comprehensive inspection of the generator as soon as possible after the restore normal operation.
Note:
1 generator load operation shall not exceed fifteen minutes.
2 generator starts running, the generator to the water level, oil level, diesel-bit, battery voltage, check battery fluid to maintain a normal state.
3 start running each test or automatic operation records are to be done.
Regular maintenance of generators
No-load test machine once a week, running time 10-15 minutes, in order to detect problems and to ensure that the battery has enough capacity for the generators to start.
1 Maintenance of the generators should be turned off before the automatic air switch, main switch in the stop position, fold open the battery positive and negative grade power cord, make sure the generator does not start.
(2) Check the battery electrolyte level, lack of concentration should be in accordance with its sulfuric acid solution or distilled water added.
3 calculate the cumulative generating support from the running last time, air purifiers should be cleaned once every 50 hours, oil purifiers, diesel purifiers, water filters every 250 hours to replace a filter.
4 Check the unit for leaks, oil leaks, clean the generator body.
5 power cord connected properly and the battery connector, test the fault indicator light should be full.
6 Check the ground wire is good.
7 Check the engine room exhaust fan running condition, diesel fuel is adequate running eight hours.
8 Check the cold cleft water level, oil level is normal.
9 Manual test machine in normal operation, open the generator automatic air switch, the main concern to start automatically open position, power failure simulation test, observe the status of the generator automatically starts.
10 Generators with a load operation for one hour, observe the meter indication and crew is functioning properly.
