BorgWarner provide the turbocharger for DEUTZ
U.S. auto parts supplier BorgWarner recently announced that it will be the new DEUTZ 6.1 l 6-cylinder B-series heavy-duty diesel engines to provide a new generation of turbochargers.
Borg Warner, executive vice president Roger Wood (RogerWood) said, “We make heavy-duty commercial turbocharger diesel engine is more fuel-efficient, with better performance, while meeting ever-increasing, strict global emissions the standard. ”
The power unit incorporates Borg Warner turbo technology and high-pressure common rail fuel injection technology. Its output power up to 272 horsepower, speed up to 2100 turn per minute. When speed is maintained at 1450 rpm, its torque peak up to 1170 Nm (approximately 864 lbs ft). The TCD6.1-liter inline six-cylinder power unit in line with four temporary emissions standards, DEUTZ customers have a choice to buy.
Deutz said, “To meet the power, torque requirements and reduce emissions, DEUTZ chose BorgWarner’s latest generation turbocharger, which uses a compact brushless motor starters to control emissions the valve. ”
Meanwhile, Borg Warner also said the company’s turbochargers to the fast electronic starter from the CAN bus control, work in the entire speed range and accurate booster. Compared with its predecessor, the new power units in the power output performance of 13%, torque increased 10%.
